Refund policy

Returns, Exchange & Refund Policy

1. Shipping Charges

For an incorrect order, the exchange or refund is free of charge.

For a correct order, a reverse shipping fee of ₹200 will be charged and deducted from the refund or exchange amount.

An incorrect order includes delivery of the wrong size, wrong colour, wrong product, or a defective item.

2. Request Window & Processing Time

All return and exchange requests must be raised within 3 days of delivery. Requests raised after this window will not be accepted.

Once your item is picked up, please allow 7–10 business days for our Quality Check (QC) team to inspect and verify your claim. Refunds and exchanges are initiated only after QC approval.

Processing timelines may extend during weekends, national holidays, festivals, or courier strikes. You will be notified of any delays via SMS and email.

3. Free Returns — Eligible Reasons

Free returns are accepted only for the following genuine cases:

  • Wrong size delivered
  • Damaged or defective item received
  • Wrong product delivered

Returns for personal preference or change of mind are subject to the standard ₹200 reverse shipping fee.

5. Product Claim Policy

100% claim is allowed for manufacturing defects within 1 month of purchase. A copy of the original bill is required.

Within 45 days of purchase, the product must be sent along with the original bill. Claims must be genuine — external or intentional damage is not covered.

Compensation will depend on the genuineness and usage of the product. It may vary between 50% and 100% of the product value.

No claims will be accepted after 45 days from the date of invoice, under any circumstances.

6. Refund Policy

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method or via NEFT upon request, within 7–12 working days after we receive the returned product.

Items must be returned in perfect condition with original packaging. Returns not meeting these conditions will not be accepted.

Note: Returns, exchanges, and refunds are not available for international customers due to high shipping costs. We recommend reviewing your size carefully before placing an order.

7. Unboxing Video Policy

An unboxing video is mandatory for all return and exchange requests. Requests submitted without a video will not be processed under any circumstances.

Requirements for a valid unboxing video:

  • Recording must begin before the package is opened or the tape is cut.
  • The video must be one continuous, uninterrupted shot.
  • It must clearly show the outer box, inner packaging, and the product — including any damage or discrepancy.
  • The video must be submitted on the day of delivery. Videos shared after 24 hours of delivery will not be accepted.
  • The video must be uploaded at the time of raising your return or exchange request on bondstreet.in.

Return requests submitted without an unboxing video will be automatically rejected, regardless of the reason stated. This policy protects genuine customers and prevents fraudulent claims.

8. How to Raise a Return or Exchange

  1. Record your unboxing video the moment your order arrives, before opening the package.
  2. Visit your order page and click Return / Exchange within 3 days of delivery. Upload your unboxing video as part of the request.
  3. Once your request is accepted, we will arrange a pickup from your location wherever feasible. Refund or replacement is initiated only after we receive the product.
  4. If reverse pickup is not available in your area, ship the product to our warehouse via a reliable courier. A maximum reimbursement of ₹300 will be offered toward shipping costs.
  5. Replacement is subject to stock availability. If the item is unavailable, the full amount will be refunded.

We recommend trying your sneakers on a carpeted surface to avoid damage. Avoid wearing them outdoors before you are sure you want to keep them.

9. Delivery Policy

Standard delivery typically takes 5 to 7 days. This may extend depending on your location and courier availability.


Terms & Conditions

  1. Bond Street by RedTape reserves the right to reject any return or exchange that does not meet the conditions stated in this policy.
  2. An unboxing video is mandatory for all return and exchange requests. Claims submitted without video proof will be rejected without exception.
  3. All QC team decisions regarding product condition are final and binding.
  4. Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of QC clearance.
  5. For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds are processed via NEFT. Bank details will be collected upon initiation.
  6. Refunds will not be processed if sneakers are not returned in complete original packaging, including both boxes and all wrapping paper.
  7. For hygiene reasons, sneakers tried on without socks or showing visible dirt will not be accepted for return or exchange.
  8. Bond Street by RedTape is not liable for return shipments lost or damaged in transit. Please retain your courier receipt.
  9. Returns, exchanges, and refunds are not available for international customers.
  10. This policy is subject to change without prior notice. The latest version is always available at bondstreet.in.
